This is an example of our latest module, Advanced Find, running to detect whether a weld cap is good or not. This algorithm works by building a statistical model from many input images. This runs in real-time and the good or bad weld cap may be located anywhere in the camera’s field of view.
We’ve been diligently working to make MIG Vision as easy as possible to create a vision job. Check out our new video below that highlights the guided job creation. When all of the required components of a job have been added, the job name turns green as a visual cue to the operator that everything is okay.

One of the cameras that we have been doing a lot of work with recently is the Microsoft Kinect. We have successfully folded this into our software (running on OS X Yosemite) by following this great tutorial. Everything worked as it was written and we are getting data from the Kinect with no problems.
